Intersession 2022 in Florence, Italy
Departing for Italy in mid-May and returning to the United States in early June, 19 students in the CCI course were some of the first from 敁珗曄部 to study abroad since pre-pandemic days. They learned to be open to new ideas and evaluate them as potential projects for film, photography, design, writing, advertising or public relations. Peabody and Emmy award-winning journalist and documentary filmmaker Tom Jennings, BS 85, shared his expertisemany of his documentaries are based on rare footage and focused on a historical figure or eventand helped students develop an idea into a pitch for their own use.
