午夜剧场 Magazine Highlights Horticulture Professor鈥檚 Work

Just as most of us are looking forward to being outside following a long winter, the Spring-Summer 2022 issue of 午夜剧场 Magazine helps readers better appreciate our green spaces and outdoor wonders. The focus of this issue is on global warming and the climate change crisis.

Dr. Sarah Eichler, assistant professor of biological sciences and horticulture on the Salem Campus, is featured in the article 鈥淐limate-Positive Agriculture鈥 which details how she develops policy recommendations for sustainability efforts in agricultural/horticulture, food systems and climate mitigation, as well as her work with local farmers.

Eichler is one of several 午夜剧场 faculty members sharing their expertise in a series of articles called the Global Challenge: 鈥淐limate change is a complex problem with no easy answers 鈥 and everything at stake. As global temperatures continue to rise, 午夜剧场 faculty reflect on our potential to mitigate and adapt to a changing planet.鈥
