In March 2024, ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ announced that Adobe approved ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ as an Adobe Creative Campus. As one of only 90 institutions worldwide and one of only three in Ohio to earn the Adobe Creative Campus designation, this title is an important distinction for ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡. To earn the Creative Campus partnership with Adobe, a university must complete extensive evaluations and processes to display a commitment to digital literacy. As part of ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡â€™s commitment to digital literacy students, faculty and staff have free access to the Adobe Express suite of tools, available at .
ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ is expanding the impact of the Adobe Creative Campus designation by opening a physical space, the ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ Adobe Creative Commons, in partnership with the Student Multimedia Studio on the first floor of the Library. The Creative Commons will serve as a space where ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ students, faculty and staff can learn more about Adobe software and have their questions answered by a ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ Student who has been accepted into the Adobe Student Ambassador program.
To celebrate the opening of the ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ Adobe Creative Commons, the ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ Division of Information Technology, in partnership with ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ Libraries, is holding an Adobe Day on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024. The ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ community is invited to the ribbon cutting for the Commons, which will be held at 10 a.m. on Aug. 29, with light refreshments.
