IN A FLASH: Donning their White Coats

Nursing students on the Kent Campus put on their "first" white coats. 

 

Students in ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡'s College of Nursing participated in White Coat Ceremonies on several university campuses last week.

These students at ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ at Stark have just completed their White Coat Ceremony. 

 

The White Coat Ceremony welcomes sophomore nursing students into the professional nursing sequence of their educational journey. This sequence is the next phase in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program in ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡'s College of Nursing.

This symbolic rite of passage ceremony includes recitation of an oath and a blessing of the hands.
