Prior to taking on this new role on July 1, Schuller served as vice president for advancement at the college. With 20 years of experience in higher education, she is credited with bringing in multimillion-dollar gifts to the colleges Now & Forever fundraising campaign, in addition to several state grants, including a $2.5 million grant to support STEM initiatives through the Choose Ohio First Program.

Schuller previously was a member of the advancement team at Hiram College for 16 years.
