As a reminder from a recent update from the Office of the President, the Board of Trustees will vote on our proposed annual university budget at its Sept. 20 meeting, and that includes a proposed 3% pay increase for all qualifying, non-represented staff as well as the contractual increases for unionized faculty and staff. The 3% increase would be effective with the pay period that includes Oct. 1, 2023. As we approach September, we encourage all ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ employees who are eligible to earn vacation to review your balances and consider requesting approval to take time off before September 30 so that you do not lose any well-earned vacation time. Online final grading for Summer 2023 Full Term, Second 7 Weeks, and Summer 3 (POT 1, W2, S3) begins Tuesday, Aug. 15 via FlashFAST. Grading is also now available for any Summer 2023 course section that was flexibly scheduled. The deadline for grading submission is 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 20. Any final grades for Summer 2023 courses not reported in FlashFAST by the grades processing deadline will have to be submitted using the Grade Change Workflow. The Division of Enrollment Management together with the Division of Finance and Administration developed a new process to decrease the number of students subject to schedule cancellation due to non-payment. What changed? For Fall 2023, only students with a prior semester balance of $200 or more will be subject to schedule cancellation. Previously, students with a balance of $1500 or more were subject to schedule cancellation. Fall 2023 examples: Student owes $1500 for the Fall 2023 and $0 for Summer 2023 or prior.
