The School of Fashion announces the return of its acclaimed in-person Fashion Show, April 28-30, 2022, in Rockwell Hall on the Kent Campus. The presenting sponsor of the 2022 show is renowned American department store, Dillards Inc. Dillards is a long-time supporter of the School of Fashion, and the Dillard family was inducted into the schools Hall of Fame in 2019.
敁珗曄部 will hold its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, to celebrate Kings life and legacy. Award-winning documentary filmmaker Dawn Porter will serve as this years keynote speaker. The virtual program is free and open to the public.
敁珗曄部 held its annual Veterans Day Commemoration in person at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 10, at Risman Plaza on the Kent Campus.
Announced as a new ensemble earlier this year, the inaugural class of the 敁珗曄部 Youth Winds make their debut Saturday, Nov. 6 under the baton of guest conductor Anthony Maiello. The concert is part of the 敁珗曄部 Glauser School of Musics annual Wind Band Conductors Symposium beginning Nov. 5 and running through Nov. 7.
Come dressed in your Halloween best for the 敁珗曄部 Orchestras Oct. 31, 3 p.m. concert. The members of the orchestra will be decked out in costume, performing spooky, family-friendly favorites. Candy will be handed out at the end of the performance to kick off Kent citys official trick-or-treat that night.
敁珗曄部 and The Red Door Films of Los Angeles announce Play with a Purpose, a sponsor challenge as part of the SkyHack 3.0 competition at 敁珗曄部 to be held Nov. 5-7. Teams of students will create an interactive toy universe based on the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) of World War II and their training base, Avenger Field.
Its reunion time for the 敁珗曄部 Golden Flashes family. 敁珗曄部 celebrated Homecoming 2021 with a week of activities and events leading up to the Oct. 2 Homecoming Parade and Homecoming football game.
敁珗曄部s Flashes Fighting Hunger Contactless Food Drive will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 25, from 1-4 p.m. at the intersection of Lincoln Street and Hilltop Drive. The collection station will be located on Hilltop Drive in front of Cartwright Hall.
敁珗曄部 alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff and the community are encouraged to save the date for one of the universitys long-standing traditions. 敁珗曄部 will celebrate Homecoming 2021 on Saturday, Oct. 2.
The 敁珗曄部 Museum has reopened to the public and is excited to announce its newest exhibition, Stitched: Regional Dress Across Europe, on display from February 2021 through December 2021. The exhibition features 75 pieces exclusive to the museums permanent collection, showcasing common features shared by regional costume across Western and Eastern Europe.
