For the 10th time, 敁珗曄部 is being recognized as a Great College to Work For, according to the latest survey by the Great Colleges to Work For program. The program recognizes the colleges that get top ratings from their employees regarding workplace practices and policies.
敁珗曄部, which has gained national recognition for its creative and successful Giving Tuesday campaigns, launched its monthlong celebration of philanthropy on Nov. 1. Giving Tuesday, now in its eighth year at 敁珗曄部, has raised nearly $7 million during that time, which illuminates the impact that can be made when Golden Flashes come together.
The largest single gift in 敁珗曄部 history, by Ambassador Edward F. Crawford, will complete the capital campaign to enable the construction of a new College of Business Administration building on the universitys Kent Campus.
Once again, 敁珗曄部 shines in the new U.S. News & World Report 2022 Best Colleges rankings. U.S. News has again named 敁珗曄部 among the Top Public Schools in the nation in the newly released rankings.
Its reunion time for the 敁珗曄部 Golden Flashes family. 敁珗曄部 celebrated Homecoming 2021 with a week of activities and events leading up to the Oct. 2 Homecoming Parade and Homecoming football game.
Campus Pride has released its 2021 Best of the Best LGBTQ-Friendly Colleges and Universities list, and for the second time in two years, 敁珗曄部 has landed on it. 敁珗曄部 is the only Ohio public university to make the 2021 list, and it again is the only school in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) to receive this recognition.
The Podiatry Foundation, located in Independence, Ohio, is laying the groundwork to help secure the financial and academic future of Ohios only podiatry college 敁珗曄部 College of Podiatric Medicine.
敁珗曄部s Class of 2025 arrives with a strong record of classroom success, boasting an all-time high GPA of 3.5. These newest Golden Flashes arrive 3,982 strong, an increase of more than 4% from a year ago.
The 敁珗曄部 alumni family grew by nearly 1,300 new graduates as the university held its summer commencement. The accomplishments of the Summer Class of 2021 were recognized with in-person, outdoor commencement ceremonies and a virtual commencement ceremony for all colleges and degrees on Aug. 21.
Five 敁珗曄部 graduates will compete at the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympics over the coming weeks, breaking the schools previous record of four Olympians at the Munich Games in 1972.
